Vection Technologies (ASX:VR1, OTC:VCTNY, FRA:S1X): Accelerating APAC expansion

Transcription of The Stock Network Interview with Vection Technologies (ASX:VR1, OTC:VCTNY, FRA:S1X), Executive Director, Lorenzo Biagi

Lel Smits: As enterprises across Asia-Pacific accelerate their shift towards AI-powered digital engagement, Vexian Technologies is expanding its footprint with a disciplined earnings accretive strategy. The company has executed a binding offer to acquire Minogic, a high-performing Hong Kong and Singapore digital marketing and brand experience agency, delivering strong EBITDA margins and deep relationships with major blue-chip clients. Joining me today from Italy is Lorenzo Biagi, Executive Director of Vexian Technologies, to reveal how the acquisition strengthens the company’s integrated digital transformation offering across immersive XR, AI, and creative communications.

Lorenzo, welcome to the Stock Network.

Lorenzo Biagi: Thank you, it’s very good to be here.

Lel Smits: So, how does Minogic strengthen Vexian’s digital engagement offering across the Asia-Pacific?

Lorenzo Biagi: Well, I will start by saying that Minogic is a very trusted partner for a number of important clients, working mainly within the food and beverage and hospitality spaces, which are both perceived to be very significant markets for Vexian.

And so, thanks to the experience they have collected along the last five years, they really know their clients, they know the market that they work into, and so it’s going to be easy for them to figure out what’s a proper solution that we can basically provide to their clients. So, when it comes to digital engagement services, it’s all about user experience, customer experience, I would say, which needs to be engaging, emotional, eye-catching. And so, thanks to Minogic’s understanding of these markets, we can really expect to accelerate cross-sell opportunities, which represents the low-hanging fruit, right? And so, we can focus on rolling out our XR and AI technologies on both existing and newly acquired clients.

Lel Smits: Excellent. Now, what new solutions become possible by combining Minogic’s creative services with Vexian’s XR and AI technology?

Lorenzo Biagi: Well, over the past 10 years, innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence and extended reality really pushed the boundaries of what is perceived to be possible in the real world, right? So, we can now combine those all interesting possibilities with Minogic services for highly customized brand experiences. And so, the combination of generative AI and XR will allow users for a seamless interaction with both digital content and digital spaces, and so, they will be using natural language as their main user interface.

And so, we can really reinvent how marketing campaign will happen within both the physical and digital spaces. And so, we can also think of using, you know, kiosks within retail and hospitality spaces, provided with AI-driven agents, digital humans, if you will, which will provide for, like, customer care or customer services, you know, of any type. And then, we can even push our fantasy towards using robots.

We can even use robots to provide for highly adaptive and inclusive customer services. So, the direction we might be taking here is moving from static, traditional communication tools to dynamic communication experiences, which will learn, adapt, and change along the way based on, I would say, the customer needs and also the customer behavior.

Lel Smits: Wonderful and finally, how does Minogic’s presence in Hong Kong and Singapore accelerate Vection’s regional growth?

Lorenzo Biagi: Well, Hong Kong and Singapore are always on the edge of innovation, right? And so, we expect those markets to be very receptive when it comes to the adoption of extended reality and artificial intelligence. And so, they also benefit from a strong support from their local governments. I would say financial support as well, which is very significant and provides them with a very solid modern digital infrastructure, which represents, you know, the perfect environment to the adoption of innovative technologies.

So, we really believe that the acquisition of Minogic will represent a solid foundation for Vection to start its expansion plan towards the Asian market. And so, we also believe that if you want to be serious in approaching the new market, you basically have to be there. I mean, you can try to approach it from overseas, but you’re going to be perceived too far out of reach.

And so, you will end up with spending, burning a lot of energy and collecting very few results. So, being there will make a big difference.

Lel Smits: Absolutely and you suddenly are there, and it’s great to hear about your expansion. I really appreciate the update from Vection Technologies and look forward to hearing more.

Lorenzo Biagi: Thank you very, very much.
