Ballard Mining (ASX:BM1): Gold growth backed by Delta Lithium, Hancock Prospecting & MinRes

Transcription of The Stock Network Interview with Ballard Mining (ASX:BM1) Managing Director, Paul Brennan

Lel Smits: RIU is holding its Resources Investor Roadshow on the 23rd of September in Sydney and the 24th of September in Melbourne. And Ballard Mining will be presenting the company as an Australia-based gold company and engaged in developing the Mount Ida Gold Project in Western Australia. Ballard Mining Managing Director Paul Brennan joins me to outline upcoming catalysts he’ll be addressing at the event. Paul, welcome to the Stock Network.

Paul Brennan: Thanks very much for having me.

Lel Smits: Now, you’re currently executing an aggressive exploration program and development studies for the high-grade Baldock deposit.

Can you talk us through the recent highlights?

Paul Brennan: Sure. Yeah. Now, thanks very much for the introduction.

So, at Baldock, which hosts 930,000 ounces at 4.1, we’re embarking on an infill drilling program. We’ve released a number of infill results at Baldock. We’re very pleased with those results.

The drilling has been confirmatory. Baldock is doing what it said it would do on the tin. And I guess the market is eagerly awaiting, as we are, the first results for the 26km of underexplored prospective Greenstone belt.

And we anticipate receiving those assays imminently. And we’ll be in position to update the market in the next few weeks on what the early exploration success looks like.

Lel Smits: That’s great to hear. Now, the company is also backed by strategic shareholders, including Delta Lithium, Hancock Prospecting and Minres. And you’ve got mining approvals in place. And as you mentioned, feasibility studies underway.

You’ve also touched on some of your upcoming catalysts. But really in the coming three to six months, what kind of news flow are you expecting?

Paul Brennan: Yeah, that’s a good question. I guess in no particular order, we will continue to, every four to six weeks, we’ll be looking to put out regular news flow with regards to both the infill and extensional drilling at Baldock, as well as the exploration, as we systematically work our way through the 18 exploration prospects we’ve identified.

I think the permitting you touched on is probably a key strength of Ballard, our advanced permitting approvals. We’re expecting works approval, probably in the next two to four weeks, which is the final approval you need to build a processing plant and tailings dam. So at that point, we will be fully permitted for open pit underground mining and processing.

So it’s the full complement of approvals.

Lel Smits: Paul, it’s great to have an update from you. Thank you so much for updating us on Ballard Mining. And I look forward to hearing more at the RIU Resources Investor Roadshow in September, which will be on the 23rd in Sydney and the 24th in Melbourne.

Paul Brennan: Thanks very much for having me.
