1414 Degrees (ASX:14D) part of initiative targeting greater renewable energy access

1414 Degrees (ASX:14D) JV business SiliconAurora is partnering with Vast Solar 1 Pty Ltd and OZ Minerals Services to advance negotiations to secure transmission access for its Aurora Energy Precinct via the Hill-to-Hill line, essential for connecting its battery energy storage system to the National Electricity Market.

ElectraNet, a major electricity transmission company in South Australia, manages 5,591 km of high-voltage transmission lines. 

Highlights

  • The Term Sheet provides for SiliconAurora, Vast Solar 1 and OZ Minerals Services to enter into negotiations for a possible binding agreement by 30 September 2024
  • This Agreement would be intended to govern the arrangements between those parties in relation to access arrangements to the ElectraNet-owned  Hill-to-Hill Transmission Line
