SQX Resources (ASX:SQX) is currently focussed on exploring gold and copper mineralisation at its Scrub Paddock and Ollenburgs prospects, located in the under-explored Esk Basin in southeast Queensland. Both these assets, near major regional infrastructure and population centres, feature known mineralisation and historical mine workings. At Scrub Paddock, soil sampling and drilling have already confirmed gold and copper mineralisation; with the extent of this mineralisation now being investigated.
